He won the league championship in each of those five seasons, also completing four league and cup doubles during that time.Juve also reached the Champions League final on two occasions under the former Milan boss, but finished runners-up both times. A journeyman as a player, Allegri represented 11 different clubs throughout a 19-year career, before hanging up his boots to begin coaching in 2003. He spent half a decade in the lower leagues of Italian football before being brought to Serie A by Cagliari.Milan hired him in 2010 after two solid seasons with the Sardinian club, and in his debut season at San Siro Allegri guided the Rossoneri to their first league title since 2004.They finished second in Allegri’s sophomore campaign, and dropped a further place the following year. 2013/14 was far less successful with Milan sacking Allegri in January after a poor run of performances and results.
